Welcome to Rally9 Pickleball League! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using Rally9 Pickleball League, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, registering for a league, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

User Accounts and Responsibilities

Account Creation

To use our services, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Updating your account information as necessary
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent to use our services. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

Account Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities.

League Rules and Conduct

Sportsmanlike Conduct

All participants must maintain high standards of sportsmanship and fair play. This includes:

• Treating all players, officials, and spectators with respect
• Following official pickleball rules and league regulations
• Accepting match results graciously
• Reporting accurate scores and match results
• Not engaging in unsportsmanlike conduct, harassment, or discrimination

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are prohibited on our platform:

• Harassment, intimidation, or threats directed at other users
• Discrimination based on race, gender, age, religion, or any other protected characteristic
• Falsifying match results or providing false information
• Using automated systems to access our services without permission
• Attempting to interfere with the proper functioning of our platform
• Sharing inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations

Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate violations of these Terms and take appropriate action, including but not limited to:

• Warning users about violations
• Temporarily suspending accounts
• Permanently banning users from our platform
• Reporting illegal activities to appropriate authorities

Intellectual Property and Content Usage

Our Content

The Rally9 Pickleball League platform, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
• Use our trademarks or logos without authorization
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Create derivative works based on our platform

User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to our platform (such as photos, comments, or profile information). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with our services.

You represent and warrant that your content:

• Does not violate any third-party rights
• Is not defamatory, offensive, or inappropriate
• Complies with all applicable laws and regulations
• Does not contain malware or harmful code

Limitation of Liability

Service Availability

While we strive to provide reliable service, we cannot guarantee that our platform will be available at all times. We may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
• Warranties that our services will be uninterrupted or error-free

Limitation of Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rally9 Pickleball League shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Personal injury or property damage
• Emotional distress or other intangible losses

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rally9 Pickleball League, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of our services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you submit to our platform

Referral Program

Program Overview

Rally9 Pickleball League offers a referral program that rewards users for referring new players to our platform. Under this program, you may be eligible to receive a $10 Amazon Gift Card for each qualifying referral.

How the Referral Program Works

1. Share Rally9 Pickleball with a friend who has not previously registered for a league on our platform
2. The referred friend registers for an account and completes payment for their first league
3. The referred player emails us at rally9sports@gmail.com using the email address associated with their Rally9 account to claim your referral, including your name and information (the person who referred them)
4. Once all eligibility requirements are met, you receive a $10 Amazon Gift Card via email

Eligibility Requirements

For a referral to be eligible for the bonus, all of the following requirements must be met:

• The referred player must be a first-time newly registered user who has never registered for a league before on the Rally9 Pickleball League platform
• The referred player must have completed payment for their league registration
• The referred player must have paid more than $10 for their league registration (the referral bonus amount)
• The referral is only valid once the new user plays their first match in the league
• The referral is not valid if the referred player withdraws or pulls out of the league before playing their first match
• The referred player must email rally9sports@gmail.com using the email address associated with their Rally9 account to claim the referral, including the referrer's name and information

Referral Bonus Terms

• Referral bonuses are awarded in the form of Amazon Gift Cards sent via email
• Referral bonuses are subject to verification and may take up to 30 days to process after all eligibility requirements are met
• We reserve the right to verify the eligibility of any referral and may deny bonuses for referrals that do not meet all requirements
• Referral bonuses cannot be combined with other promotional offers unless explicitly stated
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time without prior notice
• Abuse of the referral program, including but not limited to creating fake accounts, self-referrals, or any fraudulent activity, will result in immediate disqualification and may lead to account termination

Limitations

There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make, subject to all eligibility requirements being met for each referral. However, we reserve the right to limit or restrict referral bonuses if we suspect fraudulent activity or abuse of the program.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court. The arbitration will be conducted in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Before initiating arbitration, you agree to first contact us to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We encourage open communication to resolve issues quickly and amicably.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your State/Country], without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].
